Pioneering
SBM is having over 40 years experience in the development, design, supply and operation of Single Point Mooring (SPM) terminals for mooring large tankers and transferring crude oil, refined products or LPG without building complex port facilities. The value of a simple and robust design is therefore well understood by SBM and is applied to the COOL terminal designs.
Location
The location of an offshore terminal is flexible and can be sited away from dense maritime traffic and in waterdepths that avoid dredged channels and greatly improve navigational safety.
